このプログラムは、他の言語の話者に英語を教えることに焦点を当てて、第二言語習得に関する学問的知識の開発を促進することを目的としており、TESOLの分野における教室での実践のための基礎、中級、上級のツールを将来の教師に装備します。また、TESOL教育に関連する教室での問題を批判的に調査し、TESOL教育の方法論を批判し、英語を外国語として教える分野での研究動向を議論し、TESOLの研究方法とスキルを探求し、応用できるようにします。

私たちのメリット

MA（TESOL）プログラムは、オーストラリアの資格フレームワークに準拠し、マレーシアの資格登録によって認定されています。また、オーストラリア、ニュージーランド、イギリスで訓練を受けた高度な資格と経験を持つ講師によって教えられています。クラスは、ブレンド配信を介して実施されています。学生は2年（4学期）以内にマスターを完了することができます。各学期は13週間で、学生はマレーシアの学校の休暇期間中にのみ、学期ごとに3週間キャンパスに滞在する必要があります。毎週のオンラインディスカッションとチュートリアルセッションは、学生の進捗状況を追跡するために、キャンバス学習管理システムを介して行われます。プログラムはまた、学生が自分のペースと利便性で学習し、勉強するための究極の柔軟性を与え、完全にオンラインで実施されている4つのユニットが含まれています。

注：学生はまた、オンラインで完了している学習と教育の単位（EDUで始まる）の大学院証明書のために登録されています。

コースの詳細

コースの期間

学習期間は2年間のフルタイムまたは同等のパートタイムです。フルタイムの学生は1学期に4単位、または年間8単位の学習を行いますが、パートタイムの学生は1学期に2単位を取ることができます。1セメスターは、学生が独自の研究を行うことに専念します（MAT6105）。

1学期は13週間で構成され、1年に2学期あります。各ユニットは、24時間の対面授業と12時間のオンライン授業で構成されています。正式な授業時間に加えて、学生はピア・ティーチング・セッションに参加し、言語教育技術を実験し、批判的に評価する機会を与えるとともに、関連する実践的なユニットのために実際の授業を行うことが期待されています。

地域的にも国際的にも関連性のあるカリキュラムと教育学的コースを独自に、または共同で設計し、実施し、評価することができる。
教育・学習の実践を向上させるために、認識された教育・学習の状況に応じて、効果的なデジタル・テクノロジー・スキルを創造的に適用することができる。
学生や教育機関のニーズに応じて効果的に英語を教えることができるように、英語の学習や生産を妨げたり、促進したりする社会文化的・言語的要因を区別し、批判的に説明することができる。
研究課題を特定し、研究の原則と方法を適用し、独立したTESOL研究を実施し、報告する。

コースの入学条件

応募資格

申請者は、マレーシアのCGPAに相当する2.5以上のCGPAを持つ、認可された大学またはカレッジの学部資格を持っている必要があります。

英語力

このコースへの入学には、地元の学生および外国人学生の大学院コースへの入学に関するスウィンバーン州の方針に沿った英語力が必要となります。入学を希望する学生は、英語の書き言葉と話し言葉での上級レベルの習熟度を証明する必要があります。

英語力の要件

また、受験者は、必要な語学力レベルを満たしているかどうかを判断するために、試験条件でバーサント英語プレースメントテスト（EPT）を受験することができます。
