MDプログラムの特徴

１．生徒中心の学習
教師中心ではなく生徒中心のプログラムで、カリキュラムは生徒の学習を促進し、生徒自身の学習に対するオーナーシップを育てることを主な目的として構成されています。

２．問題解決型学習（PBL）
問題の解決に基づいた学習方法は医学に適した最も効果的な学習方法であることを認識し、基礎医学系の学習を充実させるために活用しています。

３．総合的な学習
基礎科学と臨床科学の両方が基礎科学の学習を強化し、学生の面接、コミュニケーションと身体検査のスキルを向上させます。

4．コンピュータ支援学習
学習プロセスは、コンピュータ化された多目的実験室や解剖セッションのための3Dサイバー解剖学ソフトウェアなどのマルチメディアツールを積極的に取り入れることで、さらに強化されています。

プログラムの詳細

5年間の博士号プログラムは、2つの段階に分配されています。
プログラムの1段階（最初の2年間）はクアラルンプールキャンパスで実施されつつ、2段階（最終の3年間）はテレンガヌキャンパスの臨床学校で実施されています。
各学期は約16週間のクラスセッションで構成されており、各セッションの接触時間は1セッションあたり1時間から2時間の範囲です。

Malaysian Medical Councilに公認されています。

World Health Organisationに挙げられています。

面接
学力的に適格な候補者は、入学面接に出席する必要があります。面接の結果によって、プログラムへの入学が許可されるかどうかが決まります。

評価

専門家試験は 2 回実施されます。第1種専門試験は、1年目の年末に行われる第1種試験および2年目の年末に行われる第2種試験の2つのパートで構成されています。この試験に合格した学生は、次年度に進むことができます。学生は再試験を受けることができますが、再試験に不合格の場合はコースから除外されます。また、再試験の代わりに再受験を希望することもできますが、再受験は1段階の場合に限ります。

専門家試験２は、2段階の最終年度末に実施します。不合格者は、6ヶ月後に再試験を受けることができる。

上記にかかわらず、学生は日々の業務の中で専門職の規則や倫理を遵守しなければなりません。違反を繰り返した場合は、本コースを受講できなくなることがあります。

入学面接

最終候補者は面接の対象となります。医学博士（MD）プログラムへの入学許可は、面接の結果と空席状況によって変わります。

キャリア機会

医学学位の卒業生は、Malaysia Medical Council (MMC）への仮登録の資格を得ることができます。義務教育を受けた後、マレーシアでの正式な登録資格を得ることができますが、マレーシア国民は保健省からさらに 3 年間の義務教育を受けなければならないと定められています。以下のリストは、学生がさらに勉強する場合に必要な専門分野とサブ専門分野のサンプルです。
