Civil engineeringの主なエリアと原理を1年次、2年次で紹介ます。より高度な科目は、後期にはオプションモジュールと同時に学修する予定です。学生は、2年目と3年目にフィールドコース、グループベースの設計作業、実験室作業、CAD作業、個人のプロジェクトなど様々な活動を行います。

各学期の終わりにコースワーク、試験、実験、プロジェクトを組み合わせて評価が行われます。各コースの進行は、年次評価に基づいて前年度にある全てのモジュールをカバーします。

MEngの4年目には、様々なオプションモジュールから選択し、個人デザインプロジェクトを行います。同時に、グループデザインプロジェクトも完成させる必要があります。それは、このプログラムでカバーされているすべての原理を統合するのを目的にして行うcivil engineeringプロジェクトの設計と計画です。典型的なプロジェクトであれば、高速道路の計画、小売店の公園、住宅団地の開発、水道工事などがあります。
