【University of Nottingham】Economics BSc (Hons)

このプログラムは、雇用者が求める幅広い技術とスキルの基礎を提供し、入学者の関心エリアに合わせるモジュールを選択する柔軟性も重視します。マクロ経済学、ミクロ経済学、数学、統計学は、学位の中核として形成されています。このスクールでは、経済学に関わる多様なトピックをカバーしている選択モジュールを選択することができます。その上、大学内の他の学部や学科で提供されているモジュールも柔軟に選択できます。

経済学専攻のもとに２専修が置かれ、1年目の数学及び、統計モジュールは、計量経済学或いは定量経済学のいずれかとして履修して2年目にも続きます。2年目に計量経済学から定量経済学に切り替えることができます。

このプログラムを修了後、経済理論とそれが現実の社会にどのように適用されるかを完全に理解できるようになります。 エコノミストが実際に使用する主要な分析技術にも精通します。

ファンデーションコース

Foundation in Business and Managementは、1 + 3年間のプログラムであり、学部に直接受け入れることができます。このコースは、最適な学習環境を作り、言語強化、コミュニケーション、クリティカルシンキング及び、学習スキルなどより強固な基礎を目指しています。その上、学生が選択モジュール中に選んだ学部に関連するトピックを学ぶことができます。例えば、Business economics, management and quantitative methodsなどモジュールを履修する機会があります。





プログラムの内容

コースの構成

◼︎1年目
入門的な経済理論と数学/統計学の基盤を作るため、文化的、政治的、社会的に重要な経済問題を学習します。現在の問題や視点を探求しながら、面接のテクニックやガイダンスなどのキャリアスキルも提供されています。

◼︎2年目
経済学とquantitative methodsのコアディシプリンの分析スキルと知識を着手し、経済学の主要なサブディシプリンにも学びます。
最短１学期の海外留学を申請することは、可能です。

◼︎３年目
最終年度には、経済学の主要なテーマを高度なレベルで検討し、幅広いスペシャリストオプション中に関心のあるモジュールに進学します。その上、チューター指導の下で、1年間の学位論文を提出することになります。
