BSc Software Engineeringは、Computer Science BSc (Hons)と共通のモジュールを持っていますが、ソフトウェアシステムの設計と実装を中心に編成されています。特に、インタラクティブまたはマルチメディアコンポーネントに置かれました。4つのテーマを中心に構成され、それはソフトウェアシステムの設計と実装、ネットワーク化されたシステムと分散システムの使用と開発、ユーザーインターフェースの原理、評価とテストとなります。

物を作ることが好きであれば、機械だけでなく人のことも含めてソフトウェアシステムの構築を学びたい方には、このコースはお勧めです。

コンピュータやソフトウェアシステムに関する基本的な知識と理解を身につけ、ソフトウェアシステムの設計、実装、ユーザーインターフェース、評価に関する専門的な知識も習得でき、ソフトウェア工学にある様々な問題対応とその経験を得ることができます。その上、この分野に関わる専門的、法的、倫理的側面を理解することができます。

ファンデーションコース

Foundation in Scienceは、1 + 3年間のプログラムであり、学部に直接受け入れることができます。このコースは、最適な学習環境を作り、言語強化、数学、クリティカルシンキング，及び学習能力を目指しています。その上、学生が選択モジュール中に選んだ学部に関連するトピックを学ぶことができます。例えば、chemistry, ecology, computer programming or psychologyに進学する機会があります。






プログラムの内容

コースの構成

このプログラムでは、一年2学期に分けられ、各学期の終わりに試験があります。各モジュールでは、通常、週に2～3回の講義があります。多くのモジュールは、関連するラボセッションとチュートリアルがあります。サポートを提供しながら講義で教えられていることを実践する機会になります。コースでは、eラーニングやソーシャルメディアを含む現代的な教育アプローチを活用しています。
