多くの経営判断の核心は、定量的・論理的な推論力にあります。このプログラムは、幅広いビジネスやマネジメントキャリアを成功させるために必要なスキルを身につけることを目指しています。数学、確率、統計学の総合的な教育を設け、企業経営と起業家精神の理論と実践に統合されています。経営学やビジネス学の予備知識がないことを前提としています。

Honoursプログラムの各年では、学生は120単位のモジュールを履修する必要があります。1年次では、80単位が数学、40単位が経営学です。2年次と3年次には、2つの分野でそれぞれ60単位を履修します。

ファンデーションコース

Foundation in Engineering or Scienceは、BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Management学部に直接受け入れられるプログラムとなります。モジュールは、言語強化、数学及び、物理科学への理解を目指しています。

不合格モジュールなしでこのコースを修了し、50％以上の数学モジュールを履修することは、BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Managementへの進学に必要とされています。






プログラムの内容

コースの構成

1年目(Qualifying year)では、分析・計算基礎、微積分、線形数学のモジュールとコア数学を、確率と統計学も学習します。経営学では、起業家精神、ビジネス経済学、組織行動学などのモジュールを履修します。

2年次と3年次では、数学と経営学を等分します。同時に、様々なオプションモジュールを履修することが可能で、学生が自分の興味に合わせてコースを調整することができます。
